Stronger through the menopause

You train and you watch what you eat, but your body responds differently than it used to. That is not your fault. This guide gives you the five steps that do work in this phase.

In short

Does this sound familiar?

Less energy than before. Weight settling around your middle however hard you try. Worse sleep, slower recovery, and the feeling that your old approach of moving more and eating less delivers less and less.

That is not a lack of discipline. During the menopause your hormones change, and with them the rules of the game. Keep playing the old game and you lose muscle and energy. Understand the new one and you come out stronger and fitter than before.

Frequently asked questions

Is the guide useful if I am not in the menopause yet?
Yes. The guide is valuable even if you are not in the middle of the menopause, for example if you are in your early forties and want to get ahead of what is coming. The five steps cover strength training, protein, recovery and a realistic approach that works better for women over 40 in general, and they become even more important once the transition starts. The earlier you know this, the less muscle mass and energy you lose along the way. Many women who read the guide before the first signals are really noticeable say it means they feel less ambushed when their body does start to change. The guide is written for women somewhere between their early forties and postmenopause. The steps can differ per phase, but they all start from the same base: strength, protein and recovery, whichever phase you are in.

What does the guide cost, and is there a catch?
The guide is free. You fill in your name and email address and can read it straight away. Nothing is attached to it: you do not have to start a programme or buy anything. You will occasionally get a short, practical email from Remko about training and nutrition after 40, and you can unsubscribe at any time with a single message. Your details are only used to send you the guide and those emails, and are not shared with third parties, as the privacy statement sets out. There is no sales call and no pressure to start a programme. The guide and the emails that follow stand on their own and are meant to help you, whether you become a client or not. That is entirely your decision, in your own time. And if you would rather not leave an email address at all, send a message instead and the guide comes your way just the same.
What happens to my email address after I request the guide?
Your email address is only used to send you the guide, and after that a handful of emails with extra explanation about training and nutrition during the menopause. You can unsubscribe from any of them with one click, and then you hear nothing more. Your details are not sold or shared with other parties, and nobody rings you because you downloaded a guide. What does happen: if at some point you request an intake yourself, I know you have read the guide and we can pick the conversation up from there instead of starting at zero. Exactly how this is arranged is set out in the privacy statement. In short: one guide, a few useful emails, and you hold the switch. If you would rather read the guide without leaving your email address, just send me a message and it will come your way.
